Job Description

We are searching for an experienced and self-directed maintenance professional with strong customer service and problem solving skills. The person will manage maintenance, rental turns and tenant communications for a portfolio of south and west side Chicago multi-family and single-family units.

• Resolve a variety of maintenance issues, including HVAC, electrical, flooring and plumbing. Manage vendors for complex maintenance needs. Provide point of contact for tenants on maintenance requests
• Turn over rentals quickly and to a high level of quality
• Complete tenant move-ins and move-outs inspections
• Track work orders using property management software
• Post notices on tenant doors and provide point of contact for tenants on collections

REQUIREMENTS

• Employee must have and keep a reliable insured vehicle, valid driver’s license and basic tools
• Access to reliable automobile, cell phone, and valid driver’s license with insurance
• Honest and able to work in a self-directed, fast-paced environment with minimal oversight
• Night and weekend emergency work as needed
