JOB DESCRIPTION:

Working in Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) for Sodexo, you will partner with our Healthcare clients to manage their clinical technology needs. The Service Imaging Engineer I will provide support to the in-house ISE team in Lawton, OK. This includes installing, maintaining, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing Radiology, Ultrasound, and X-Ray equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspect, repair, maintain, and calibrate basic diagnostic imaging equipment, devices, system, and instruments. Interact on a routine basis with other clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based problems.

Key Duties

  • Inspect, maintain, repair and calibrate equipment and systems
  • Provides advanced support of equipment for direct patient care
  • Interacts on a routine basis with clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based problems and solutions
  • Solves organization-level customer service issues and complaints
  • Preparing required documentation and reports
  • Ensures regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrates a safety mindset
  • Financial responsibility for purchasing parts and service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Basic Education Requirement – Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronics, biomedical engineering, or other technical discipline contributing to proficiency of maintenance and repair of imaging equipment within a healthcare environment
  • Basic Functional Experience – 3 years of experience within a healthcare setting with direct responsibility for the maintenance and repair of clinical devices and/or 1 year of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATION:

  • Unquestionable integrity.
  • Polished personal presence.
  • Outstanding problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for medical imaging devices.
  • An ability to operate well and manage in high stress, fast paced circumstances.
  • Expertise in medical imaging service, repairs, and preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Proven success developing and sustaining relationships; team, customers, suppliers.
  • Project management experience.
  • Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specific training and/or extensive experience with Philip’s, Siemens and GE MR and CT scanners.
  • Multi-modality experience and training a plus.
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation schedule.
  • Competency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products.

MUST HAVE:

Basic Education Requirement – Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronics, biomedical engineering

3 years of experience within a healthcare setting with direct responsibility for the maintenance and repair of clinical devices and 1 year of imaging equipment repair and maintenance.

Experience with Philip’s, Siemens and GE MR and CT scanners.

Experience in computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
