JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Being a member of the Risk PMO Team, the selected candidate plays a key role in Financial Risk Management’s mission to provide effective and efficient identification, measurement, monitoring and control of market, liquidity, and credit risks for company, its members and the marketplace. One of the main functions of the department is to protect the safety and soundness of the markets in the areas of clearance and settlement in the company’s complex.
• The Risk Program Management Office (PMO) within the GCRO, is a central, independent governance team providing oversight and governance of financial and cyber security risk initiatives. The team is accountable for portfolio management and reporting up to Senior Management
• As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading the execution and delivery of technology initiatives across Risk Technology Portfolio. As a senior member of the PMO this role requires the ability to lead, coach, and mentor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow the internal processes and methodologies for delivering initiatives/projects and ensure adherence to these methodologies, as well as Risk PMO governance framework, from project stakeholders
• Responsible for initiative/project planning and scope prioritization, successfully plan and track multiple projects encompassing Business and IT stakeholders
• Actively collaborate with stakeholders across Business and IT to meet the business objectives
• Track project progress, including issues and risks, all program cost, schedules, and performance against established program milestones; reporting the status to management stakeholders on a regular basis
• Understand and translate cross-functional dependencies into actionable plans. Track and report all interdependencies between multiple initiatives and projects
• Ensure delivered products meet defined business requirements and are of high quality
• Proactively identify and manage risks. Plan for an effective risk mitigation
• Responsible for timely resolution of conflicts and issues. Negotiate the scope and approach, and act as liaison between appropriate stakeholders
• Support the business planning process
• Support the Agile / Scrum process
• Effectively use the tools required for managing programs and projects at DTCC
• Effectively align project timelines, strategy, and objectives to support the program

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7+ years of project management experience, experience in Agile preferred
• 5+ years in the Financial Industry with focus on risk management is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of related experience

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member with minimal supervision leading multiple complex projects at a time and manage workload with shifting priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills are needed to gain cooperation from various stakeholders
• Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
