JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining process equipment throughout the plant, building and grounds maintenance, along with general maintenance related tasks.
• This position will be required to work in a team and/or independently.
• The Maintenance Technician will work with management, closely with production operators to identify/solution problem(s), attend training classes as defined by management, and other responsibilities as defined by the Maintenance Manager.
• Required to work an 8hr off shift schedule (10p – 6:30a)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Perform and maintain equipment by following the Preventive Maintenance program
• Perform equipment maintenance on all unscheduled work in a safe and timely manner to reduce operational downtime
• Perform scheduled maintenance by working closely with management and operators to support operational needs
• Assist outside contractors as needed and defined by management
• The employee will be required to follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures as defined by Saint-Gobain.
• Maintain the Waste Oil Containment Area to ensure that the waste is disposed of properly

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have completed an industrial maintenance trade school program, or a minimum of 4 years of equivalent experience
• Industrial Electrical experience preferred
• Must have a good attitude and willingness to work
• Must be able to work 3rd shift (10p – 6:30a)
• Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings
• Must have knowledge in all areas of maintenance (hydraulics, electrical, mechanical, and control systems)
• Must be able to work independently with some assistance as needed
• Must be proficient with basic computer skills
• Must have experience troubleshooting equipment
• Must be willing to learn and attend training classes as defined by Management

MUST HAVE:

Must be able to work 3rd shift (10p – 6:30a)
