You are a strategic, innovative Facilities Executive Director ready to help clients optimize their business!

Looking for an Executive Director with a strong manufacturing background to lead FM operations for a Fortune 500 manufacturing client. Based out of our Martinsburg, WV site location, this position will also have oversight of our Shippensburg, PA facility.

This role will have oversight of a combined total of 8 million square feet, in the following line of services: Security, Culinary, Hard and Soft services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for client communication and field all client requests through direct reports
  • Approximately 8 direct reports
  • Oversee 4-8 sites in the northeast to mid-Atlantic geography
  • Oversight to all work in CMMS system (SAP knowledge is a plus)
  • Follow up with direct reports on all rm Monthly Building Safety tours checking machine rooms, stairwells and electrical rooms.  Complete Fresh Eyes and Safety Reviews to Counseling Client on Safety best practices
  • Routine Tour buildings to ensure all systems are in operation and customers are satisfied with building’s operation
  • Attend weekly planning and scheduling meetings with area site Directors and planners to determine work priority and schedule for the following week and long-range backlog is executed with business disruption and minimal barriers
  • Find and scope projects to reduce cost savings at the site and throughout the geographical area.
  • Must be available 24/7 to respond to building emergencies or to respond to work being performed by contractors after hours
  • Oversight of multiple building operations in a specific area within the Region
  • Strong Financial Acumen to management a Multi-Million-dollar portfolio
  • Travel up to 30%

  • No less than 7 years leadership experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Have technical knowledge of hard services (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Manufacturing Equipment, Building Maintenance, etc.) in a manufacturing environment
  • Are a strategic leader, knowledge of GMP (Good manufacturing practices), knowledge of FMCG (fast moving consumer goods)
  • Have experience in multi-site and state oversight and capable of managing complex projects and the ability to successfully integrate services within the requirements of the current MSA agreement
  • Have proficient computer skills including MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MAXIMO, and SAP
  • Promote good working relationships with management team, frontline team members, and the client
  • Are an active participant who is self-motivated, always demonstrates a positive & professional demeanor
  • Are a proven leader and has led a team of managers to become a high performing team
  • Have excellent planning/organizing skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Have excellent analytical skills, comfortable presenting information to large groups
  • Have excellent working knowledge of processes in production, quality, and familiar with FDA requirements
  • Have high attention to detail
  • Have the ability to effectively prioritize work with competing priorities
  • Have the ability to manage complex, multi-discipline projects involving multiple locations
  • Can demonstrate large operational improvements in production processes, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions to successfully achieve positive results
  • Has experience Lean manufacturing
  • Have a proven safety record that has creative ways to enhance and improve the safety culture
  • Have the ability to be on call to respond to building emergencies or to respond to work being performed by contractors after hours; and
  • Have the ability to travel up to 30%
