JOB DESCRIPTION:

• The Director, Product Manager plays a key role in the Data Services product leadership team and is primarily responsible for defining the product strategy, roadmap, and vision that will support the long-term growth of all our Data Services’ current and future Corporate Actions Announcement and Security Reference data products. In this highly visible role, the Director, Product Manager will leverage their extensive knowledge of Corporate Actions Announcement and Security Reference enterprise content consumers, use cases, and workflows, as well as, their extensive network across the corporate actions and security reference data ecosystem to best position Data Services for success.
• The Director, Product Manager is a product champion and subject matter expert that is responsible for representing the ‘voice’ of the Corporate Actions Announcement and Security Reference Data market client to identify and deliver new data innovations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead full Corporate Actions Announcement and Security Reference product life cycle using Agile frameworks
• Leverage Corporate Actions Announcement and Security Reference market knowledge to advise and drive portfolio strategy and roadmap vision
• Use external client and internal customer feedback to identify both problem areas and opportunities for future product concepts
• Coordinate with tribe, squads, external partners, and internal business aligned centers of excellence to bring product to market and define paths to best execute, against vision
• Maintain a proficiency in the Corporate Actions Announcement and Security. Reference driven environment, industry trends, and current state of strengths and gaps
• Determine objective and key results that will take product strategy forward and meet overall business objectives. Prioritizing chances to create maximum customer and business value
• Continuously seek internal and external client feedback to ensure all customers are advised of what is needed to deliver a complete product to market and ensure continuous innovation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 10 years of related experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred with Masters or equivalent experience
• Deep Corporate Actions Announcement and Security Reference domain and industry expertise. Validated expertise in delivering successful Corporate Actions Announcement and Security Reference data products to market
• Proven knowledge of Corporate Actions Announcement and Security Reference industry trends and ability to understand user demands and difficulties
• Comfortable with all collaborators (technology, clients, finance, integration, sales, ops readiness) with strong interpersonal skills to be able to engage in discussion and consistently deliver the right product feature sets and solutions
• Experience in Agile Development, with specific Product Management (or similar) experience
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills,. Ability to develop and conduct presentations for clients and prospects bi-laterally and at industry events, as well as, to internal partners and executive management
• Outstanding conceptual and analytical skills to identify, analyze, evaluate product innovation alternatives
• Make effective decisions even under pressure while considering immediate and long term consequences of the decision
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Self-motivated and be able to inspire others, work comfortably in a fast-paced environment and within group settings. Have the ability to think creatively and strategically and have demeanor to stay calm under stress and uncertainty
