JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The Business Transformation Engagement & Delivery Lead (Associate Director) position offers candidates an unparalleled opportunity to drive a portfolio of transformation projects, coupled with exposure to senior leadership, and the opportunity to effect positive change within a leading financial services institution.
- In this role you will serve as a primary management contact and client liaison with the responsibility for; identifying transformation opportunities within an aligned business or function, guiding the squad to turn opportunities into reality, and managing both client satisfaction and the overall client relationship.
- By creating and communicating a clear vision, the Engagement & Delivery Lead focuses the efforts of the squad upon delivering the best possible customer value and helps to shape the deliverables aligned with maximizing the value of BTO services and solutions.
- Our Engagement & Delivery Leads are client-centric, strategically focused individuals, who demonstrate a broad spectrum of leadership and collaboration capabilities that are required to guide the aligned squads to success. Critical success factors in this role include the attitude of people working with, not for, each other, where there is the ability to create a plan and then execute that plan, with the ability to empower and delegate to the squad.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the overall management of the client relationship and the successful delivery of proposed BTO solutions and services to the aligned business or function stakeholder(s) and senior leadership
- Support the identification of future client needs and potential transformation engagements
- Drive alignment on vision through clear communication and direction to squad members on identified business challenges, in-scope activities and best-practice approaches for solutioning
- Collaborates with squad to deliver on most critical value drivers; present a high-level vision board and delivery roadmap that expresses evolving customers’ needs
- Supports collaboration in squad by encouraging inputs by squad members. Seeks to improve leadership style in order to motivate others within the squad
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; Masters’ preferred and/or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated expertise across multiple BTO competencies: (i.e. Data analysis, Process re-engineering, Agile methodologies, Project Management, Business Acumen, etc.)
- Ability to create a comfortable and positive working environment for the squad through willingness to adopt new ways of working within the squad, including changing direction during projects.
- Maintain strong communication skills (presentation, speaking, written) especially related to aligning on a vision with the squad and in managing customer delivery expectations
- Can proactively establish relationships and knowledge that will prove useful in achieving squad objectives
- Generates well-formed ideas with potential and considers implementing new approaches to achieve squad objectives
MUST HAVE:
Education: Bachelor’s degree
7 years of experience in Business Transformation Engagement & Delivery.
Expertise across multiple BTO competencies: (i.e. Data analysis, Process re-engineering, Agile methodologies, Project Management, Business Acumen, etc.)
Strong communication skills and create a comfortable and positive working environment.
NICE TO HAVE:
Education: Masters’ degree preferred.
Knowledge in MS Office including Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
