As an Advanced Software Engineer, you’ll perform software requirements analysis and design.  You will develop and test software to include development of new work products or enhancing existing applications, systems, or embedded products.  We will rely on your experience and knowledge to solve the hardest technical problems facing the company, often requiring the utmost creativity and innovation.  It’s your chance to step up to the challenge and prove you’re ready to lead the world.

Responsibilities:

Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related technical field is required (or equivalent experience), plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Agile experience preferred.

Clearance Requirement:

Department of Defense TS/SCI clearance required at time of hire.  The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Polygraph within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

What you bring to the table:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

• Solid understanding of Object Orient Design/Programming

• Exposure to Java, C++, or other OO programming language

• Strong understanding of software engineering concepts, principles, and theories

• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms

• An affinity to learning and being able to quickly apply new knowledge for the benefit of our systems

• Proficient knowledge of software tools supporting Integrated Development Environments (IDE), version control, defect reporting and scripting

What distinguishes you from others:

• Experience implementing signal processing algorithms on FPGA’s and GPU’s

• Experience with Agile software implementation and experience with DevOps

• Experience leading programs/projects with Agile/Scrum tools and techniques
